Advanced life support in obstetrics – Trip Report
This year I was joined by two obstetricians and six midwives for teaching of obstetric emergency care.
The teaching was conducted in the Dr Peter Scott education centre in SoE.
We were able to teach approximately 45 midwives over three days.
We received exceptional feedback from the participants in regard to our teaching.
This year I was invited by the head of the university to take the team to the polytechnic in Kupang to present our teaching to the final year midwifery students.
The feedback from the teaching was also extremely positive and the polytechnic would like us to continue with the teaching every year.
Overall the trip was incredibly successful and the feedback from each member of the team was great!
