2026 Advanced Life Support Teaching AMP

From the 8-12th June a team of 5 midwives, 2 doctors and 1 sonographer spent two days of teaching advanced life support in obstetrics including PPH, Neo resuscitation, basic life support, breech delivery, shoulder dystocia, estimated blood loss , aortic compressions and condom catheters at the Muder Ignacia Hospital in Soe.

We were joined by 114 participants which has been our largest group since the commencement of our training.

The feedback given by the participants at the end of the training was exceptional.

This trip incorporated the opening of the hospital extension so we were unable to teach for the usual four days, but we were thrilled to be a part of the opening ceremony.

The team of midwives then held a teaching day at the Midwifery School of Health Polytechnic of Kupang.

This was attended by 30 students. It was an incredible day for our team of midwives to share our knowledge with each of the students.
